Casablanca Hire Provides Marquee, Table and Chair Hires for London's 2013 Paralympics Day
On Saturday September 7th we were honored to have hired marquees, tables
and chairs for London's Paralympics Day that were presenting the very
best of disability sports and arts at beautiful Queen Elizabeth Olympic
Park. The weekend festivities also included the Liberty Festival, a free
event full of family friendly activities in the Park and lots of fun
community activities as well thanks to the London Boroughs of Barking,
Dagenham, Hackney, Newham, Royal Greenwich and Tower Hamlets, supported
by sports clubs and community organisations.
Also in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the Liberty Festival presented
an inspiring programme of deaf and disability arts that included dance,
live music, street theatre, film and various children’s activities.
Besides enjoying an inspired performance of "The Limbless Knight" by
Graeae, Andrea Begley, winner of the BBC's version of "The Voice", made a
special appearance.
Everyone was invited to take part in the
Paralympic sports, ask questions and get the autographs of their
favorite Paralympic medalists. Guests also had the opportunity to watch
ParalympicsGB stars in the Copper Box Arena, a beautiful venue that was
re-opened for the Paralympics Games in 2012. Besides watch the highly
skilled Paralympic stars guests had the opportunity to enjoy Boccia,
wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball and more for free.
One
of the many important considerations involved in planning an event like
London's Paralympics Games are the marquees, chairs and tables hires and
we were pleased to be chosen to provide them for this extraordinary
event. Employing our extensive and expertly skilled crew, Casablanca
Hire setup their hires in record time leaving time to apply the
finishing touches that made the placement of the table and hire hires,
along with the Marquees perfect, allowing for easy access and the
comfort of all the attendees, and to deal with any little issues that
might crop up before the various activities began.
The event was a
huge success and the people who pulled it all together ensured that all
activities were accessible and included British sign language
interpretation and captioning availability during all the music stage
performances, and audio description tours were available as well. It was
obvious that a lot of planning and in depth considerations were put
into this incredible event and the same attention to detail was put into
our table, chair and marquee hire placement, ensuring comfortable
seating arrangements that addressed any possibilities that needed
special attention.
