St. Patrick's Day London
On St Patrick’s day London paints itself completely green in colour. The
Irish luck surrounds almost all restaurants, pubs and hotels in and
around London every year, so how will this year be left behind. There
are so many festivities that ultimately lead to the actual St. Patrick’s
Day fest, and everything has an absolutely stunning Irish theme. Many
places have their own events organized, but there is one event that
stands out of all, which is the one I am mentioning below.
St Patrick’s day Parade and Festival is a very prominent event of London
which be held on 16th March at Trafalgar square and the whole world is
invited free of cost. The parade consists of street entertainment,
floats, 32 countries in Irish colors, marching bands and different
communities from all over London including the London Irish people.
Each
year the parade is getting better and more spectacular than the
previous year. You can experience everything Irish at the festival in
Trafalgar Square. The dance, the comedy, the music, the food and who can
forget their drinks. Everything from the Emerald isle can be seen at
Trafalgar Square. The theme of this year’s festival is the 'World of
Dance' so we can of course see a lot of Irish dancing and dancers you
have never been seen before.
Trafalgar
square will continue to entertain people with a food market, a
children's area, and also an afternoon of laughs in the London Irish
Comedy festival Marquee. A rain free day is not guaranteed just as they
can't in the Emerald Isle, but a fun-filled day is and if it rains hard
you have the marquees from Casablanca hire to keep you protected.
From under the cover in the marquees Aisling Bea, Fred Cooke, Paddy Culligan, Jarleth Reagan and Ruby and Rory O'Hanlon will entertain you
