If you’re a fan of Friends (and lets face it, who isn’t) you’ll be pleased to know the show celebrates it’s 25th anniversary this month and there’s a shed load of celebrations taking place around the UK, meaning nobody has to miss out on their fix of Joey, Monica, Rachel, Ross and Phoebe.
From a chance to take a seat on the iconic sitcom sofa, to having a coffee in Central Perk, take a look at what’s happening around the country.
Visit the Central Perk sofa
Possibly the world’s most famous sofa, the original Central Perk heirloom is going on tour across the world – and it’s coming to the UK. A chance for you and your besties to recreate your favourite Friends moment, you can take a pew in the same seat as the iconic comedy characters.
On its journey, the sofa is travelling to the Empire State Building and Burj Khalifa, where thousands of bums will sit on the fascinating piece of furniture.
It will arrive in the UK this September, heading the Edinburgh first, then Cardiff, and finally the London capital. To be in with a chance of taking a seat, sitting rights are coming on a first come, first served basis at each location and is free of charge throughout the day from 10am to 5pm.

If you thought the sofa was special, then FriendsFest will blow you away. The annual festival is back and bigger than ever for the special 25th anniversary.
Taking place in various cities including Milton Keynes, Bristol, Manchester before finishing up in London, sets this year include Monica’s apartment, Joey and Chandler’s apartment, and Central Perk.
For fans keen to get into character, there’s the chance to dress up and wear a a wedding dress just like Phoebe, Rachel and Monica did.
Extending the celebration, there’s also a Christmas extravaganza taking place in London. Look out for FriendsFestive from 18 November to 21 December.
Bringing the sitcom to the stage, the unofficial Friends musical parody Friendsical is currently making its way across the UK. The hilarious theatre production has recieved rave reviews from fans around the UK and is set to head out again this summer.
After a successful set at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the next stops are Kingston, Malvern, Blackpool, Chelmsford, Southampton and Croydon.
Head to Primark
If you’re doing a bit of shopping and want to get in on the Friends celebrations then head on over to Primark. The store has recently opened a string of Central Perk coffee shops and sell a whole load of Friends merchandise. From mugs and t-shirts to wall art and decor, you can celebrate the show every day of the week and get kitted out for these fabulous, fun-filled events.
The collection includes a cute duvet set, so you can cuddle up with your other half, that’s if you’re not on a break, and watch Friends now all 10 series are on Netflix, eating cookies out your Friends cookie jar, which is only £12.
